I Heart President Obama

Hi there! Blogging for me has always been not about hobby, or duty but about passion. I started my first blog in the early days of the Bush administration as a way to cull together all the news I was reading about all the horrible things they were doing to this country so I could keep my friends and relations informed. (Especially since alot of what they did got buried in the back pages). After the reelection however I was a bit downtrodden and defeated. I had accomplished my mission-My Mom switched parties and became a democratic activist, My Husband got inspired and blogged circles around me, and I was keeping lots of people informed of stories that were hard to find. But the fact that he got reelected left me deflated and my passion and my blog waned as a result.

Now, however, things are different (yay!). Bush is gone (yay!) and I've once again been inspired to write. If my old blog was a rapidly growing yarnball of shitty things the Bush administration was doing, then my new blog is the great unravelling. So I begin anew today-to document all the things the Obama administration is doing to Undo the wrongs done to us and set things right again.

So I hope you'll enjoy checking in to see what latest horrible thing we don't need to be embarrassed about anymore, (and let me know if I miss any).
